Walking the streets of San Francisco brings back a lot of good memories from last summer, when I interned in the city and explored a ton of delicious eateries. Tonight, I had the chance to try a burger joint on Market Street. Full disclosure: SF burgers are in another league when compared to the typical fast food stuff.
The burger joint was called Super Duper, and enticed by 8 oz of fresh-ground Niman ranch beef (two patties!), I ordered their Super Burger. Combo with fries and drink, of course.
So did the burger stack up to its namesake? Most definitely yes. The juiciest and most flavorful burger I’ve eaten in a long time. The condiments were just the right amount, and like most good burgers, this one had a special sauce. Fries were pretty standard, and overall, the meal was great.
I didn’t get the chance to try out Super Duper’s organic soft serve ice cream, but next time, I’ll make sure to buy one for dessert.
