Seems like every other post is about a burger place – but I just had to spotlight this one. I’ll try to vary things up after this, unless another stellar burger place comes up. We’ll see.
Mick’s Karma Bar is located in a nondescript area between a bunch of financial buildings in Irvine. The area outside was very nice and peaceful, and although most people there looked like they were on lunch break from the cubicles, there were the occasional students from the UCI/Uni area, too.
The Habanero Burger was gold. Delicious, delicious, delicious. The meat was juicy and tender, the chopped habaneros added a spicy flavor, and the house sauce – some combination of mayo and pepper – was absolutely standout. The bun was unique too and nicely toasted.
Since I ordered a combo, also got their fat fries (perfect crunchy texture) and strawberry basil lemonade (very sweet, and very good). Enjoyed an amazing lunch on a beautiful day.
