During our stay at the Aria in Vegas, we were lucky to try out three restaurants at the hotel – the Aria buffet, Lemongrass, and Blossom. Overall, the restaurants were pretty high-end and very nicely decorated, the food was good, but definitely not worth the price.
So on to Blossom. This place is Aria’s Chinese restaurant, and unlike Lemongrass, it wasn’t confused about what to serve given its Chinese theme. The dishes were all pretty tasty, with the highlights being the Peking duck and the jumbo shrimp.
The servers brought out the whole Peking duck, freshly cooked, carved it up and served it with the wrap, oyster sauce, and onions. The jumbo shrimp was split in half for easy eating and seasoned with all sorts of sauce and spices.
Service was excellent, one of the best I’ve seen. The servers were very attentive and even brought extra dessert treats for the kids at the table.
Still, you could probably drive to the 99 Ranch plaza a few miles away to enjoy delicious Chinese food at a fraction of the cost.
