SoCal = land of good ramen. There’s the legendary Foo Foo Tei. Daikokuya . You name it. However, if you need a quick ramen fix without the half-hour wait, plus a place that accepts credit cards and has a ton of variations, may I suggest Ajisen Ramen.
Ajisen Ramen is a global chain restaurant, but that doesn’t hurt its quality and ability to serve some delicious food. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and service is typical. They’re well known for their pork ribs and premium pork ramen, to name a few.
Personally, I was feeling beef so I ordered the spicy beef ramen. It came out piping hot, with very tender meat, chewy ramen, and decent broth. Overall, the broth isn’t as rich as the ones I’ve tried at the other places I mentioned, but it was still pretty good and I left feeling full.
