    I don’t think there are many noodle places around the Berkeley area, let alone fusion noodle restaurants. But things change the farther you go down College Avenue, where the Rockridge area stands on its own as a place of all kinds of good and unique food.

    Today was the last day of my summer internship at OpenDNS. The marketing director and marketing manager decided to treat me to a really nice restaurant for lunch. COCO500 was their recommendation – how could I say no to good (and expensive) food?

    Berkeley isn’t exactly a hotspot for great Chinese food. There are several average-to-good ones, including Great China and Lotus House, but the below-average to downright gross restaurants outnumber the better ones.

    Although San Francisco has some amazingly-good eateries, the drawback is the price these restaurants typically charge. It’s tough finding good food at (fairly) reasonable prices for the student budget.
